Are bed bugs contagious?

Bed bugs do carry some diseases but have never been shown to transmit them. Some include plague and hepatitis B also bed bugs have been known to cause skin infections.
Can bed bugs cause anemia?

Sure, but you would have to get an awful lot of bites.
Can bed bug be spread?

This is the most common question I get. 100% of bed bugs are spread by humans and animals. Most commonly by going to a hotel or on a cruise and bringing them home with you.
Can bed bugs fly?

No they can not fly.
Does (ammonia, boric acid, Lysol, raid, gasoline, vinegar) kill bed bugs?

I guess they could but there are better, safer ways to kill them.
Do bed bugs carry AIDS? My family and I are scared about that.

The idea of insects being carriers for disease is not new. We know that mosquitoes can spread malaria, and ticks can spread Lyme disease. However, when it comes to bed bugs. Researchers say live HIV can be recovered in the little insects up to 1 hour after they feed on infected blood but there is no evidence that the virus can be transmitted to a person. Hepatitis b can be detected up to 6 weeks after feeding, but there again scientists say there’s no evidence that the bugs can give you the disease if you’re bitten.
